about me

My name is Lily Myers, and I’m a poet, author, Tarot reader, and witchcraft scholar. I earned a B.A. in sociology from Wesleyan University and am currently pursuing my M.A. in Women’s Spirituality from California Institute of Integral Studies. I study and write about the intersections of spirituality, magic, and gender in women’s lives.

I am the author of viral slam poem “Shrinking Women” and the young adult novel This Impossible Light. My writing has been featured in Bustle, BUST, Button Poetry, DAZED, Loam Magazine, and more. You can find my writing website here.

I am a devoted student of yoga, herbalism, Tarot, and the history of witchcraft. I completed the Seattle Herbal Apprenticeship with Adiantum School of Plant Medicine in 2018 and two 200-hour yoga teacher trainings in 2016 and 2018.

I have a corn snake named Calliope Harvey Danger, I am obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I aspire to watch every witch movie ever made.
